AynFaa Saffron is extracted from the stigma and styles of Crocus sativus with fractionated base oil of Cocos nucifera. It is commonly called Autumn Crocus, Safran, Zafran, Zafrin, Kesar and Keshar. Saffron is a spice derived from the flower of Crocus sativus. The vivid crimson stigma and styles, called threads, are collected and dried for use mainly as a seasoning and coloring agent in food. It is an autumn-flowering perennial plant unknown in the wild and originated in Crete or Central Asia.
