Vetiver

Vetiver attar is extracted from aromatic roots of Vetiveria zizanioides by hydro steam distillation process. It is commonly called as vetivert, khus or khus-khus. Vetiver is a perennial bunchgrass of the family Poaceae, native to tropical Asia. Vetiver roots are generally harvested after 15-24 months of planting but good quality oil obtain from 18 months old vetiver; though early harvesting gives higher yielding of oil.

Vetiver  concentrated perfume oil has an initial clean, clear earthy aroma that becomes deeper, woody and smoky as it dries. The intensity and complexity of aroma makes this an outstanding base note as well as an excellent fixative in perfumery. Vetiver essential oil is extensively used in aromatherapy, natural perfumery and traditional medicine.

This vetiver attar is hundred percent pure, natural, organic, undiluted, therapeutic grade and distilled in Bangladesh.
