Chandan

Chandan (Sandalwood) Attar is extracted from chips and billets cut heartwood of Sandalwood tree (Santalum album) by hydro steam distillation process. It is commonly called sandalwood, sada chandan, white or East Indian sandalwood. It is a small tropical tree native to South and Southeast Asia. The tree starts to blooming after seven years and trunk of the tree starts to developing its fragrance after about ten years of growth. They may live to hundred years of age.

Sandalwood oil is used extensively in perfumery, aromatherapy, ayurvedic medicine and food flavoring. Sandalwood attar is a slightly thick and pale yellow to pale gold color concentrated perfume oil. It has very distinctive fragrance, full of depth, warmth richness and smooth but resonating woody base note; subtle earthy tones and deliciously creamy top note.

This attar is hundred percent pure, natural, organic, undiluted, therapeutic grade and distilled in Bangladesh.
