AynFaa Saffron oleoresin (attar/ittar/essence) is extracted from stigma and styles of Kashmiri Crocus sativus by solvent (ethanol) extraction process then diluted with virgin coconut oil. It is commonly called as Autumn Crocus, Safran, Zafran, Zafrin, Kesar and Keshar. Saffron is a spice derived from the flower of Crocus sativus. The vivid crimson stigma and styles, called threads, are collected and dried for use mainly as a seasoning and coloring agent in food. It is an autumn-flowering perennial plant unknown in the wild and originated in Crete or Central Asia.
